I had always been moderately physically active, working out occasionally through the years. It wasn’t until 2009, that I decided to kick things up and work on getting fit and healthy. Little did I know that would be the beginning of many changes in my life. I started attending a morning boot camp, met new people and became motivated for new things. I segued into running, starting with 5k’s and working into longer distances. Flash forward over ten years, and I have now done numerous 5k’s, 10k’s, and 15k’s. I’ve completed eight half marathons, a triathlon, two duathlons, bicycle rallies, numerous mud/obstacle runs, the Tough Mudder, stair climb challenges and completed the Red Bull 400 in Park City, Utah four times, with more to come. After being asked by friends and family for workout advice, I decided to give serious consideration to getting my personal training certification to be able to assist people on their journey to a healthy lifestyle. In 2018 I received my ACE Certification and I am excited to be working with people from all walks of life to change their ideas of exercise and fitness. I incorporate healthy eating and some kind of fitness into my routine every day, and I believe in being creative and changing things up to avoid boredom and routine.
